How to get to the Campus:

Walking from the city centre to the University Campus takes about 30-40 minutes.

From the city centre you can take bus number 8 at the stop in “Plaza de la Fuente Dorada” , near “Plaza Mayor” . You have to get off bus number 8 at the last stop, which is right at the entrance to the Miguel Delibes Campus, where the workshop will take place. 

To go back to the city center, you can take the same bus (number 8) and get off at “Plaza de España” or “Plaza de Zorrilla” .

The bus ticket can be paid in cash or by credit card:

•  Line 8 from "Fuente Dorada" to the University Campus   

• Line 8 from the University Campus to "Plaza de Zorrilla" (Zorrilla Square, city center)

Meals and coffee breaks:

Morning and afternoon coffee breaks will be in the Faculty of Science cafeteria, located on the ground floor of the Lecture Hall.

Lunch from 15 to 17 January will be at the expense of each participant. There will be a reserved space in the Caferia El Apartamento, in a nearby building (the “Apartamentos Cardenal Mendoza”). You can also eat the daily menu in the cafeterias on the university campus: in the Faculty of Sciences (6.75€), in the School of Telecommunications (6.50€) and in the Faculty of Education (xx€). Of course, in all these cafeterias you can have sandwiches, snacks, etc.

The dinner in Javier's honour will be held at 9pm on Thursday 16 January, at a restaurant yet to be determined.
